We are a Bible-based, Jesus-focused and Spirit-led congregation located in Clarington, Ontario. At Chapel of Mercy, we believe that Jesus must be seen in all that we do. Our mission is to spread the message of salvation, build people and families through the teaching of the word of God, and share the love of Jesus Christ in our communities.

MISSION STATEMENT
In God’s house, there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for we are all one in Christ Jesus (Gal 3:28) In keeping with this mandate, we aim to spread the message of salvation and the love of Jesus Christ through community outreach and service programs.
VISION STATEMENT
Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we seek to positively impact and empower this generation with the Word of God, so that by the Word, there will be revelation of purpose, fulfillment of purpose, and transformation of lives and communities
THE CHURCH ORIGIN
Chapel of Mercy is a parish of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) world wide.
The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) was founded in 1952 by Reverend Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi (1909 – 1980). Pastor Enoch A. Adeboye has been the General Overseer of RCCG since 1981. As of March 2017, RCCG has presence in over 193 countries and the church is still rapidly expanding, utilizing evangelism as a core tool along with church planting.
Presently, there are established missions in many African countries, as well as Europe, Asia, the United States, the Caribbean, Canada, South America and Australia. RCCG has also been involved in establishing schools, rehabilitation centers, child care and support centers
Pastor Olajiire (Ola) Alonge serves as the Parish Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Chapel of Mercy. Knowing Jesus and looking unto Him alone, informs the life and character of Pastor Olajiire. It is this sincere love and devotion to the Savior that has fueled his service in various capacities to God’s Kingdom and purpose.
Pastor Mrs. Rebecca Alonge, or Big Sister, as she is fondly called by a majority of us, daily lives the Word of God and applies the Word and prayer to bring life and transformation to people around her.
She is heavily involved in ministry to women in various seasons of life, and children. She is committed to making Jesus real to women and children, as evidenced by her leadership of the women and children groups in church.
She is happily married to Pastor Olajiire Alonge and they are blessed with 2 beautiful girls, Esther and Eunice.
